Ryan Snyder

Ryan Snyder is the founder of GeekSpeak, LLC, which is the umbrella company for Foodgeeks.com and Winegeeks.com. If you ask him about the impetus for the *geeks.com websites, he is quick to respond, "The most amazing experiences in my life have been great conversations around the dinner table with a group of friends. Food and wine is what set the forum for these experiences to happen, and my goal is to enable others to enrich their lives with the help of great food, beer and wine."

A web developer by trade, Ryan is the webmaster for the *geeks.com websites, and contributes where he can to content. Ryan holds Bachelors' Degrees in English and Italian from The Ohio State University. He is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and holds countless certifications he considers worthless (most notably the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification), but is still glad he went through the process. Ryan lives in Portland, Oregon, where you can usually find him at a random coffee house with an empty espresso cup sitting beside his laptop, wishing he was hiking instead.
