At 2,400 feet in altitude, Sonoma Mountain overlooks the town of Glen Ellen just to the east and is located within the larger Sonoma Valley AVA. The soils are well drained, creating wonderful expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as notable Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Pinot Noir.
