Picolit
Also known as the Piccolito and the Uva del Friuli, the Picolit is a relatively rare varietal found in the Friuli region of northern Italy. Known mainly for the production of dessert-style wines from grapes that have been dried on straw mats. In addition to residual sugar and a very high viscosity these wines are also said to be heavy in stone fruits, apples and pears.
