Villard

Like Baco, Chambourcin, Couderc, et. al, Villard is a French hybrid that once grew prodigiously and was prized for the mammoth yields that it produced instead of any sort of flavor or aroma. There is both a red (Noir) and white (Blanc) version of this particular varietal, though thankfully neither is rarely found today.
