Terre de Trici
Members of the Trinci family have been part of the ruling elite in Foligno since the 12th century, building perhaps the best-known castle in Foligno, on Piazza Grande, the Trinci Palace. Historically, the hills around Terre deÂ' Trinci were ideal for growing red wines, such as Sagrantino, but today the wineryÂ's 740 acres are planted with a variety of grapes.
