The Valdipiatta Estate consists of a 32 acre vineyard situated at a height of 1300 feet above sea level among the hills sloping down from Montepulciano towards Valdichiana. The winery produces 60,000 bottles per year, most of which are labeled under the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, while the remainder Vino Rosso di Montepulciano D.O.C. and red and white Vino da Tavola di Toscana. The soil consists in medium-light soils of clay and/or sand, depending on which part of the vineyard you are in. Prugnolo Gentile, Canaiolo Rosso, Mammolo, Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia Toscana, Grechetto and Cabernet Sauvignon can all be found in the vineyard.
