A very nice little wine with a dark, earthy and spicy nose with lots of dry rocks, dust and a little raisiny note underneath. The palate is full and round, with lots of earthy complexity, a dark and smoky note, some caramel and oak and some rich cassis fruit. A real crowd pleaser for $16. Di Majo Norante has single-handedly brought back the wine world from this neglected area along the Adriatic coast. November 13, 2007
