This port is amazing, as is any wine from this incredible, small winery in Lodi. It pairs wonderfully with exotic dark chocolates. The mouth feel is velvety and the nose has the most amazing apricot notes. I have tried a great many wines, vintages, and types, and never had such an incredible experience than with this particular vintner. Everything they produce is gold, (literally, California State Fair). The wine maker, Dave Dart, is truly in touch with what the wine connoisseur desires. Please check this winery out. I drive 100 miles round trip to buy these wines. March 1, 2008
