99 L'Sieme Elio Altare, a unique Piedmont blend. 8 different vintners cooperate to make and bottle L'Insieme, each under his own label. Thus each is unique and each varies from year to year. If there is a super-Piedmontese, this is it. Definitely not traditional. I've had the 99 twice now, the first bottle was mature, the second might have lived another year but I don't at all regret drinking it last week. Not cheap but worth it. August 5, 2009
