For $10, this is a solid wine. It shows a good acidity, with notes of grapefruit and green apple on the palate, and hints of asparagus on the nose. My only criticism is that the body is a bit flabby. For food pairings, I'd serve steamed mussels with white wine, shallots and parsley, using this wine to prepare the mussels. December 30, 2009
