This is a great wine for people who like highly extracted Pinots and Cabs. It's a little muted on the nose, showing only oak and dried tobacco. On the palate it is fruit forward, showing extracted fruit flavors of prune, stewed blueberries and pomegranate, with tobacco and woody notes on the finish. For me it's slightly off-track for a Ribera del Duero, but that's just me. February 11, 2010
