One sip of this wine and I thought I was licking a rusty barbell. I thought it was pretty offensive. However, the many poor qualities of this Crémant are very well balanced.

Intense gun flint right off the nose almost makes you afraid to taste it. Notes of burnt citrus and old hay show up on the palate followed by a slightly awkward finish.
