Chile has made much progress in exploration of new regions where Pinot Noir. Vino Urmeneta is one of the oldest winery of the country (1860) founded by Mr Jose Tomas Urmeneta. Cool climate regions of Central Valley particularly suited to the production of Pinot Noir.

Notes & aromas of cherry fruit. Light weight of bodied with high alcohol, lack acidity. Short finish.

Lots of heat and currant on the nose. Needed time to open up to reveal fruit flavors. Tastes of bittersweet chocolate and coffee flooded the tongue and left black plum and smoke in the finish. A good low priced cabernet with a short finish. Easy drinking and not memorable. The body never fills your mouth and doesn't stay long enough to leave an impression. Nice wine to accompany everyday meals of pasta, pizza and light BBQ.

This Willamette Valley Pinot is approachable at a very young age. On the nose it has that Burgundian funk of freshly turned soil and musty basement. On the palate, it's lively up front and mellow on the finish - zingy red raspberry melds into stewed black raspberry and pomegranate with hints of roses and granite. I'm quite pleased with this purchase and will definitely go back to the store to grab another bottle. Or three.

Fruit forward, yet elegant, showing notes of black cherry, pomegranate and hints of cassis. Slightly floral. Great structure, with the elegance again showing in the silky mouthfeel. Enough tannins to allow this to age gracefully for the next 3-4 years. Would love to pair this with duck breast.

Fresh, lively and very approachable. Showed black cherry and pomegranate atop a satiny body, with light showings of terroir that need a touch of time in the bottle to be able to fully show themselves. I'd lay it down for a couple more years. This made for a wine that paired greatly will morels, and really allowed them to stand out, as if they needed any help.

A floral, racy, minerally, lightly effervescent Gruner that was an outstanding showing. Was awesome as an apertif! I will happily purchase this wine again.

When I ordered this Barbera from the menu at aPizza Scholls in Portland, Oregon, it was exactly what I was looking for in a Barbera. Black cherry and fresh currant, with a nice amount of oak and tannin to help it stand up to the 'za. Oh, and it was a margherita pizza with capicola. Perfect pairing.

Ready to drink now, but will improve with a couple years in the bottle.

This wine looks absolutely stunning, and will cause people to stop, point at the glass and state to the server, "I'll have one of those." It resembles cranberry juice, which shows on the palate, with a subtle French oak. Easy to drink, and makes for a good pairing with Salade Nicoise.

A decent showing of Torrontes. Lively, zesty fruit profile almost more reminiscent of a Loire Sauvignon Blanc than a Torrentes, and missing the distinct floral aroma. But refreshing, and a good pairing for grilled shrimp.

ABC: Anything But Chardonnay / Absolutely Brilliant Chardonnays
My favor ABC from Australia: Leeuwin Art Series (Margaret River), Penfolds Yattarna (Adelaide Hills), Rosemount Roxburgh (Hunter Valley) and Kooyong (Mornington Peninsula).
The 2009 Chardonnay is in bright straw colour. It shows notes of stone fruit, melon and pineapple. Fairy fruity bodied with rounded mouthfeel and creamy texture. Fresh acidity and a minerally aftertaste. Drink now.

This is red is ridiculous underpriced for the bold, rich flavors it packs in every bottle.

The blend of three grapes meshed well together, and didn't over power the seafood pasta with tomato based sauce. If anything it enhanced my meal.

Definitely worth a sample

A very hearty tasting wine, that is a perfect compliment to any beef dish. A really good steak wine.
The texture, offers a fruity bouquet of blackberries and tart cherries. A well balanced after taste.

I'm really feeling these wines from Montefalco, Italy.

Really liked this wine. The fragrances of the that the pineapple, apple and peach scents really complemented the light and tangy after taste. I used it a number of white cream pasta dishes, but mainly drink it with a bowl of fruits.

Definitely worth the a taste.

This white blend is both bright and zesty, and offers fragrances of pineapple, apple and peach.

It's very light and refreshing on the palate, and leads into a finish with lightly tangy notes.

It's a perfect white wine for brunch, and its a great "bang for your buck" wine.

This was superb!

Weighty with a great texture, this red wine offers a fruity bouquet of blackberries and tart cherries. In the mouth, it is succulent with a well-balanced acidity.

I am just loving the wines from Montefalco, Italy. It is definitely a region that needs I believe will get more recognition in the years to come.

I was very pleasantly surprisingly by this red, especially for the reasonable price I paid.

It had a very bold taste, but it didn't have a hard bite at the end, which was very nice.

The blend of three grapes meshed well together on my palate, and it complimented by bolognese pasta dish very well.

I haven't tasted anything like this wine before; the Sagrantino is full bodied and truly has it's own complex personality.

It's great with a medium rare steak or can even be enjoyed by itself.

The Spoletino is a great, refreshing white wine with fruits hints of orange and pear.
It's a wonderful Summer wine and its compliments just about any seafood dish.
