Vin de Savoie Ayse Petillant

Originally one of the cru villages of Savoie, Ayse has been awarded AOC status for the Sparkling and semi-sparkling wines produced there. Nestled in the French Alps near Lake Geneva, this tiny little region produces crisp whites mainly from the Roussette (Altesse) grape, though Mondeuse Blanche and Gringet can be used as well. Citrusy, floral and clean, these wines are at their best consumed as fresh as possible. The Petillant AOC applies to semi-sparkling wine only.
