Taste the wines of a Gorge original. Viento wines are created by Rich Cushman, Hood River native and winemaker for over twenty-five years. The name Viento, Spanish for "wind", was chosen to reflect the constant vibrancy of the wind in the Columbia River Gorge. Their family works together to make these limited production wines in Hood River, Oregon. All of the wines are carefully crafted to emphasize balance, fruit character and the vineyard. The art of winemaking with respect for traditions and personal style is practiced at Viento. The results are wines of balance, softness and wonderful flavors.
