Good dark red Barbera, medium bodied with mild, lingering nose and reasonably dark fruit. Went very well with pork tenderloin stuffed with pesto, or grilled medallions of tuna. As a Barbera d'Alba, quite good but not as distinctive as it might be. Recommend for a dark, cold winter night with light meat.

Black raspberry and cherry, with bold tannins and mineral notes.
