esbrown reviewed Cain Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Concept 2002 on February 7, 2006 Super ripe and cedary on the nose, with black cherries, cassis and juicy blackberries. The palate is smooth, ripe and round, with lots of ripe dark fruits, sage and cedar. Full grape tannins lead into a long, spicy and oaky finish. Good, but this wine needed a little more complexity to be thought of as "great." Perhaps with time... |
